If Bush wins the Florida count and it is overturned by any sort of legal maneuvering, rightly or wrongly, it will have a horrible effect on the American people, IMO.

Respect for the legal system is pitiful right now. People view it as just another way that those with power can abuse those without. It's like when a murderer gets off because he wasn't read his Miranda rights. Yes, technically it's the law but it sits badly with the American people. They've had enough of OJ and Clinton hiding behind the law's technicalities.

I'm so sick of all this high minded talk on TV that the legal system is the right place to settle this election. The parties involved are trying to hide their greed behind noble principles, nothing more.
