How about the "disenfranchised" voters in the Florida panhandle that heard that Bush had lost Florida to Gore before the polls even closed? Should we conduct a new election in the panhandle? How about all of the other voters, nationwide, who decided to not go to the polls when it appeared that Bush was on the road to losing the electoral college? Would Gore have a lead in the popular vote if the media had not violated the public trust?
