this hand counting should be stopped! If you gore takes the lead on the hand count then what? Do you trust a hand count over a machine count? Do you recount the hand count? Will bush ask for a hand count for the rest of Florida? what if he retakes the lead on the hand count for the rest of florida? Trust....are we losing it here? The idea for doing a hand count in these selected areas is that the machine sometimes misses ballots...so hand counting will allow more ballots to be read. So if you hand count in a place where gore is more popular you will get more gore votes.... Selective hand counting is unfair....I think hand counting is bad idea. Good think we have the electoral system and not popular vote. We would be hand counting the whole damn country right now. Bambs
