I would guess that the vote count discrepencies are because of inaccurate reading of votes. I assume the vote counting machine counts all slots at once. If you have ten slots, then you would have ten readers picking up those slots. If the reader for Als slot isn't as sensitive as GW's slot, the reader would naturally miss more of AL's vote. Remember, both AL and GW picked up votes in the recount. If the reader is picking up one slot at a time, it would be highly likely that the first slot is the easiest to read because the slot lines up better on the first slot.

It certainly looks like tha pandora's box will be opened, as the DNC announced raising a $million dollars to challenge the election, and Wis. is talking of a recount; as we actually had fraud here in the form of bribery for votes.
