*OT* Agreed. Gore has to begin to appear gracious to avoid killing the party's chances in 2004. Nov. 17 should be the latest he concedes, and he ought to have one damn graceful speech prepared for that day. Palm Beach is a dead issue; a Dem signed off on it. Unfortunate, but a real can of worms to start reopening the polls.

FWIW, the three presidents who won the electoral college but lost the popular vote were booted out four years later. That alone ought to signal the illegitimacy of the electoral college. BWDIK.
