Off topic -- election stuff... What's Gore got to lose from dragging this stuff out? He's already lost the election, so for him, things can't get worse: Only better. If, and it's a really big IF, something gets uncovered to change the count(s), his position can only improve. Meanwhile, he gets to kill some Bush's joy of winning. Maybe this will reduce his losing pains a bit. Anyway, the behaviour we've seen sure tells us about politicians' priorities: Damn the nation, I want to live in the White House. Or equally probable among aids: I've fart-sniffed behind this guy for months, I want my sinecure appointment with its accompanying perks, power, and pension. Cheers, PW. P.S. I once posted that I though both Gore and Bush were good men and either would make a good president. Recent events has altered my opinion.
