Nouveau_Riche,

<What angers me most about the voters reaction to voided ballots is their inability to accept that their mistake cost them their vote. The ballot, to me, was not the least bit confusing or misleading. >

The only thing wrong with your basically correct viewpoint is .... the legality of the ballot ... NOT who did or did not approve it NOR who saw it or didn't see it before voting ... BUT was it a legal ballot !!!

There are 2 Florida elections laws that seem to have been broken in the ballot (1) The list of candidates needs to be a list NOT a butterfly, and (2) all punches are supposed to be to the right of the candidates names.

If and ONLY if the ballot is found to be illegal a re-vote in PB county should occur. If the ballot is legal then the mistake-makers should suffer from their mistakes.
