Who cares about the national debt. If Bush was all about reducing the debt, he won't be for tax cuts. Rather, he would use the surplus to pay off the debt for be benefit of future generations.

My concern is the economy. The Clinton-Gore team has created the longest period of economic prosperity. I'm not saying this because I would benefit from government spending. I pay more tax than the amount of money I spend. If Bush is talking about the "end" of the Clinton-Gore Administration, I am against his election bid. Won't you?
Let's keep things the way they are.
