Jim Baker this morning...

At this point, I could care less who wins. But Baker knows a judge has an injunction on certification for some of the Florida ballots until Tuesday. I feel Baker is acting irresponsibly in calling on Gore to give up. Baker is just turning up the propaganda volume without additional substance.

'Legal wrangling until (the democrats) like the results.'

Bull (and Baker knows it). These are inflammatory words that are nothing short of pathetic coming from someone with Baker's experience in diplomacy.

We're dealing with a difference of ~300 votes and serious voter complaints. This is a clear case where judicious use of litigation is mandated.

The Republican campaign never stops.

Oh yeah, a 'minor' point: Gore did not originate the litigation in Palm Beach. It was a grassroot effort by voters who felt they were tricked or deceived by the design and layout of the ballot.
