The problem is that Gore's tactics risk opening Pandora's box. Elections are usually messy business. I don't think this one is remarkable in that respect. For instance, any confusion in FL is probably not outweighed by fraud in IL. Now it looks as though NM was tainted as well. It would be a shame if challenges started popping up all over the country in places where the margin was close. JLA
