Cobalt--The majority of states are not Democratically controlled in the HOUSE..the Repubs have 27 states, the Dems have 19 and 4 are even.

The House can vote for THE president if no one has 270 electoral votes. I am still trying to figure out what the House will/can do on Jan 6 if no one has 270 because of the litigation re: disputed electoral votes.

Will they simply appoint an Acting President, i.e., the Speaker of the House, will they appoint a commission as in 1876 to decide, will the Supreme Court rule.
