Jim, Washington County, the home of Intel in Oregon (i.e. 12,000 Intel employees and growing) also voted Gore (49%) over Bush (47%):

Also, it seems like Gore could win Oregon by a 3,300 vote margin (out of 1.4M votes). Maybe the Republicans can demand a recount here, or maybe even complain about the confusing Oregon vote-by-mail ballot that I talked about before.

By the way, here's a nice argument by James Freeman, a conservative through and through. He argues that the media is to blame for falsely announcing Gore as the winner, even before the polls closed in the Republican-friendly precincts:
