I, too, wondered whether any "interested parties" might be buyers of the debentures. If they really do convert to more shares as the price falls, then this could be a ploy by management (or parties close to management) to get full control of the MD stake rather than losing it in a bankruptcy. I suppose they would also get control without converting, because in a bankruptcy they are ahead of the shareholders in line to get paid off. We really need to know the terms of the debentures.
