<Don't be absurd:
I can't believe he didn't try to use his father's political influence to get out of the ticket. Just shows you what kind of a man we are dealing with here.
He was arrested/stopped/ticketed whatever you want to call it 1 mile from the Bush Kinnebunkport Compound. How unaware do you think the police are that they wouldn't know the CIA Director didn't live there and that GW was his son at the time of the incident? Who knows that a ticket wasn't already itself an attempt to minimize the seriousness of his DUI.

BTW, DUI, or OUI or whatever you want to call it is hardly an indication of Presidential potential, Clinton not withstanding. Since Bush is the issue here, is this the kind of dignity that he intends to bring to the office? Will he exercise equally poor judgement on behalf of the American people? Will he become PUI - President under the influence? >

The ticketing officer already produced his side of the story. I guess we should just believe your innuendo, since you were so close to the situation.

As to exercising equally poor judgement, there will be no debate on which man has a higher level of integrity. Here we are talking about a DUI 24 years ago. That is the best you can do. Do you need a list of felonies committed by the Clinton/Gore/Ms.Clinton administration.

As I said, there will be no debate. DISMISSED!
