Resisting the urge to cover things here. I think we may finally get the positive feedback latching to the downside, and the type of activity necessary to finally begin eating into the ridiculous bullish consensus. NDX leading to the downside is NOT bullish here.

What's your wave count look like? I think we've had a 1-2-1-2 combo, and it would make sense to have wave three launch on the breach of 3000 by COMP. The other count I have would place us in wave five of three down, with the last month representing a consolidative wave four rather than another wave two.

Either way, all leading indicators and sentiment say - emphatically - the bear is nowhere near done yet.

BTW, is anybody besides us actually calling it a "bear market" yet? Or are the brokers avoiding the b-word because a group of 30 stocks (DJIA) hasn't fallen enough yet? <g>
