HERE IS THE SOLUTION !!!!!

November 10th 2000
The Florida fiasco

The Media's recklessness began when the networks called Florida for Al Gore
before 8 p.m. Eastern
Standard Time. The polls were closed in most of Florida. But they weren't
yet closed in the panhandle,
which is on Central Standard Time.
Knowing that Florida was key to a Bush win, how many of his
supporters in the panhandle
just didn't bother to vote in light of the report?
More importantly, though, the polls were also open from Wisconsin and
Iowa - states where Bush lost in close races.

Here is the solution:
First we declare the "election day" a Holiday (occurs every 4 years)
Polls are open on the East Coast from 10 to 7
Polls are open Central from 9 to 6
Polls are open Mountain time from 8 to 5
Polls are open Pacific time from 7 to 4

So all polls are actually open and closed at the same time.

Now this will eliminate the fiasco we are in right now.
