I think so too, although AMD was never worth 39...it got way ahead of
itself. Someday, though, I think it will get back to its old high and
be worth it at the price.

Don't be too concerned about the negative stuff that some people are
posting. This is just a minor investment to most of us but it seems
like there are some folks that have a personal vendetta against AMD...
curious as to the reasons but not very interested!

About AMD's PCS products, they are well aware that CDMA is not set as
a global standard and so are covering all their bases. No matter which system ends up being the most widely used, AMD will have the
product in the pipeline and the production capacity at the ready for
a ramp-up.

Also, AMD has a low enough long term debt and enough cash to weather
this latest downturn. The crash in memory prices and the glut of old
inventory is hurting almost all the techs...not just AMD. Just about
every day, some tech outfit comes out with price cuts on something...
it's getting cutthroat out there, and AMD is better positioned as a
survivor than most.
