OT Somebody please indulge me, my college degree is failing me: Why on earth are we awaiting absentee votes? Given that in 999,999 out of 1 million elections the election would have been over 3 days ago, the late-arriving votes would be of absolutely no consequence. It seems to me that those overseas votes should have had a deadline for mailing of several weeks ago. They should have arrived at one place, for counting on Tuesday!!! What am I missing here???!!! TIA
