progress report on stated predictions and unadulterated bullshit
predicted Bush would win the national popular vote - half the original Gore lead has evaporated after only a trickle of absentees have been counted - stay tuned
predicted at least one state would be reversed after Tuesday night - now NewMexico has taken itself off the Gore win list, recounting
predicted absentees would decide Florida - happening in Florida - even California announced possibly putting Gore final win into the Undecided column, due to absentees
predicted Pandora's Box would open without control - Milwaukee challenges Gore votes, LosAngeles claims "massive scale of voter fraud" of Gore votes, NewMexico goes uncommitted (once Gore), Iowa prepares to recount (under Gore list), Wisconsin prepares to recount (under Gore list), Miami reports intimidation of Haitians (to vote Gore)
predicted pressure on Gore to concede - former SecyState Baker reminds of dangerous precedent of lawsuits, and risks to the Republic - Washington Post, NewYork Times, and Wall Street Journal each identify the Gore Campaign Team for what they are NEXT - financial markets pressure Gore
Daley bullshit: WPalm ballot is illegal - not true according to FL Sexy of State
Daley bullshit: "under the conclusion of election results, our campaign continues" - he missed the fact that voting occurred Tuesday
Daley bullshit: 19,000 discarded WPalm ballots must count - Mary Matlin reports WPalm officials admit that many of the 19k ballots were discarded by VOTERS, who went back for new blank ballots, and indeed voted
ME: been watching carefully the body language... Daley has tail between legs, back peddling, shoveling off responsibility to voters for their lawsuits... Gore advisor peppered by CNN Shaw, looked beleaguered and under attack... these guys are folding their tents in my opinion... they are running out of legs to stand on... I think they know they have lost, and dont know how to gracefully concede
a re-vote is totally out of the question... the WPalm challenge to the state courts will be very interesting... apparently some voters were not permitted a second chance, even after appealing to officials... ugly
