Seems pretty clear from the numerous reports and legal experts I've heard and read that:

1. No state accepts a ballot which is double-punched or cast. They all throw them out. It's the law across the land.
2. If you have an objection to the way in which the ballot is presented, you must raise it prior to the election. Also, you have a responsibility to take the solemnity of the event serious enough to ask a question if confused.
3. Since Palm Beach used a computerized system. The laws related to "it must be to the right of the name" do not apply. As long as the method used is reasonable. Or words to that effect.

Summary:

Although rumors are running rampant. The vote in Palm Beach and the rest of Florida will be found legal and count. Therefore, we sit with Bush up by 327 and await the absentee ballot till the 17th.

Everything else is just noise at this point. Except the New Mexico election, which has Gore ahead by 118 votes and should be complete by tomorrow morning.
