You know, unless Mary Maitlin is right about the 19,000 overvoters having already revoted, I still think Gore's PB legal challenge would have a chance. But at this point I no longer think he should do it. I still think a hand recount (by both sides if they both want it) is important. But, based on what we know now, after that recount and the counting of the overseas ballots, I think the losing candidate just has to let it go.

Of course, if the losing party is Bush, that may not be the end of it, because of how close the IA, WI, NM and OR races are. He may well want a recount there.

There. Movement by one of the sides. Now which one of the Bush folks suggesting that Bush drop his lawsuit to stop the hand recount?
