Since most of their money comes from the same places, is this any wonder? About Nixon and use of power: Over the weekend PBS had a documentary on the lives of Al and GW. One item was that though anti-war, to help his father get reelected, Gore volunteered for Vietnam. His father lost anyway and on Gore Sr's birthday before Christmas they sent Al to Vietnam. I am not shedding any tears for the Gores here. But it does say something about how hard ball politics is played.
