No. Al Gore has no ego. Al Gore is psychologically, a scared rat. He wants power to be given to him because he knows that he is a fraud and that perhaps power will prove him not to be. If you give him power (or he takes it)you have freed him from his self doubts (for a while). With power, he can make his pain go away; he thinks. Al Gore does not have an ego because as he knows, he hasn't earned one.
