Scumbria, re:"it might be better for the country to have the popular vote winner also be the electoral vote winner?" It is never better to violate provisions of the constitution of the United States in order to make you feel better. If you want to change the constitution, there are avenues for you to pursue to attempt to change it. Good luck. steve
