Scumbria: i am starting to think maybe Gore should concede after all (after all the recounts and absentee ballots are checked):

a) Bush is in a deadlocked Congress.. and with all the bitterness from this election, wont get any of his radical programs into place.. GridLock ensues. He gets blamed.

b) The economy is supposed to slow down and go south the next couple of years (if it isnt going already).. This is what cost Dubya's daddy his presidency in 1992 to Clinton... and it could cost Georgie Jr. All Gore has to do is sit tight.. and when the slump hits, point at the economy and then at Bush and say 'told you so' - putting him in great position for getting elected in 2004.

Swallow the pride and take the short term pain for the long term gain (of course.. if absentee ballots or recounts cause Bush to fall behind Gore.. then all bets are off) :)
