UPDATE: latest NM vote tally = gush -- 285,764 bore -- 285,747 gush takes NM by 17 votes however, they are saying that there are UP TO as many as 189 "in lieu of" votes remaining to be counted. they defined "in lieu of" votes as those cast by voters who had requested an absentee ballot but did not use it and instead appeared at the polling location and voted in person. when this occurs, the voter must sign an affidavit declaring that they DID NOT use the absentee ballot. why those have not yet been counted, i do not know. when they will be counted, i do not know. we are experiencing technical difficulties PLEASE STAND BY (until the dow jones industrial average drops below 17)
