Well I can place stop-loss orders on Schwab for NASD stocks, so it is possible. Who do you use as a broker? P. (P.S. I'm sick of Schwab's "Please note we are using a backup machine, since our main machine is broken, and we have plugged in a whole bunch of abacuses to make up for our incompetence, so don't place any orders or we may have to execute you").
