Can you imagine how they feel right about now?
Can you imagine how most Americans feel right now? They are witnessing partisan squabbling and posturing that is shaking their sense of security, and perhaps undercutting the strength of their next President, in their own and the eyes of the world.
As for those "older people" in Palm Beach County, if they're copis mentis enough to vote, they're copis mentis enough to ask a question about a ballot they may find confusing. A ballot published in the newspaper ahead of time, btw. I don't care what age somebody is, that doesn't give them special rights, remember, All men are created equal? They have a responsibility to be informed voters like the rest of us, and that means informed about how to punch a ballot correctly. And all they had to do was ask. If for some reason their eyesight happens to be terrible, they definitely should ask or bring a younger friend/relative with to the polls.
We are not just helpless creatures, attacked by unseemly ballots.
Also, in general voters are always given a new ballot when they request one. Who knows, there could be some specific bizarre instnaces where someone says, "Nope, you screwed up that ballot and now you can't vote" but...
