Talk Visual Signs Exclusive Service Agreement With Global Tech Expos; Companies To Provide Worldwide Videocall Job Interview Services
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 10, 2000--(OTC-BB: TVCP). Talk Visual Corporation Chairman Michael J. Zwebner announced today that the Company has executed an exclusive agreement with Global Tech Expos, a division of Sector Development Inc., (a wholly owned subsidiary of Sector Communications Inc.,) to provide it with videocalling services. Talk Visual's TV225 and other videoconferencing equipment will allow Global Tech's corporate exhibition customers to interview potential job applicants without ever leaving their offices. The videocalling services will be available at all Global Tech job fairs and job placement exhibitions for the next three years.
Under the agreement, Talk Visual will supply TV225 videophones and a host of related telecom products and services. ISDN line setup and long-distance, local exchange carrier services, telecom management, and desktop and conference room videoconferencing equipment will be provided.
"This multi-faceted program allows for extraordinary flexibility in the interview process," said Talk Visual's President and CEO Eugene A. Rosov. "It's part of our plan to introduce low-cost, global videocalling services to human resource departments worldwide. Under these programs, job applicants can be interviewed at the corporate client's booth either in-person or by videocall - direct to the interviewer at the company's location of choice. Alternatively, job applicants come to our designated Talk Visual locations worldwide for an interview with the corporation - again, with the human resources professional at the job fair or at the corporation's location. This entire service is remarkably convenient for both the job applicant and the interviewer. It can save a great deal of travel expense, time, and inconvenience for everyone involved. It's effective, convenient and cost-effective."
Through its corporate and partnership locations worldwide, Talk Visual offers clients videocall locations at over 1,200 sites in 715 cities worldwide. Corporate and consumer clients can enjoy superior quality international videocalling - at rates comparable to international voice calls.
Global Tech Expos, operators of Job Fairs for companies seeking high-tech personnel, is organizing its first High-Tech Job Fair in San Jose, California on January 22nd and 23rd, 2001. It is expected to provide over 250 exhibiting companies with the opportunity to interview several thousand job applicants.
A spokesperson for Global Tech Expos said today, "Our relationship with Talk Visual Corporation allows us to become the leading high-tech global supplier of innovative video-calling services in the Job Fair industry. Talk Visual's global connectivity is the cornerstone of our new and existing foray into international human resources services.
