Year end tax loss selling is also prompted by lack of net cash coming into Wall street. In that season, the market drifts and not likely to move too far. Watch for ebb and flow, the normal rhythm.

January effect will help the market regrow next year. But the entry point is not revealed until the last few days of the year. Sitting on cash is a big problem that tempts you to invest too soon at the wrong time and in the wrong place.
