I, too, have heard elsewhere that many of those 19,000 were thrown because replacements had been requested. For some unexplained reason, it gets mentioned in passing and gets lost in the FUD shuffle.

There's a discrepancy between the precinct totals and the county total which has not been explained.

Now that the hand recount is about to occur, all sorts of subjective decisions will enter the mix. The machines at least are objective.
