Roee,

EDIG

Do you really think EDIG is a viable company? Their debt to asset ratio is a bit scary. I read that they were recently denied a listing on NASDAQ. Also, if you check their press releases they usually offer relatively scant details in the quarterly reports and rather prefer these peculiar letters to the shareholders. I have always been suspicious of EDIG management. Do you honestly believe they have any chances of success in the near term? They only did a million dollars in total revenues last quarter and the prospects of deep penetration into the MP3 market had been touted by many posters on EDIG.

FLSH

Again, I see FLSH's departure from their prior designs as a big endorsement for portable (removable) flash memory. The next step is to get all PC manufacturers to move the USB ports to the front of the boxes. Then the next objective is to get consumers to except yet another removable flash memory form factor. In the laptop market the PCMCIA slot is also a standard slot that requires no drivers for flash devices in the PCMCIA or CF form factors. I currently use CF cards like floppies with connectivity to my digital camera, PC and handheld via CF slots.

What we really need is PCMCIA slots standard on all PC's, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
