Senator elect Hils jumps in with both feet (in mouth).
More talk about 'the will of the people' and dumping
the Electoral College. If this election had been only
about 'most votes wins', the GW would have won by over
a million votes. GW's money would have concentrated more
on population centers and less on small states. The dems
would have run mostly the same campaign. Nader would have gotten way more votes as there would have been no 'guilt
factor' in close states.
Electoral College will never go away as small states will
fight it. 2/3 of states would have to agree to dump it.
A 'popular vote' election would find 120 percent of people
voting Democrat in Chicago and other cities. These cities
will never go to ATM type voting. JMO
