Sure, the log trendline should be the correct one - but if we got there we will have effects in the physical economy (towards depression) that will make markets break this trend to the downside. I'm only saying when a) happens b) will be the consequence.

It will probably need a near-zero-rate policy to help out of this if markets break the uptrend.
