Consolidated Shoshoni Gold Inc. (the "Company") will not be proceeding with the brokered special warrant private placement, consisting of 2,000,000 special warrants at $0.30 for proceeds of $600,000, announced February 25, 1997.
On April 18, 1997, the Company announced the signing of a Letter of Intent to acquire an option interest in the Yubay Mineral concession located in Baja California, Mexico. The Company will not be proceeding with this acquisition.
Consolidated Shoshoni has targeted its' claims in the Nicola Valley Mining District, near Merritt, British Columbia, and the Finlayson Lake area of the Yukon Territories as focal points for the 1997 exploration season.
