Isn't it curious though that after the pressure of a recount that the revised total has given Gore some votes that "weren't there" before. Do you suppose that the Republican "machine" centered around Jeb Bush had been doing a little missionary work for brother, if only around the margins? And do you suppose that the Republican resistance to any further scrutiny is due to the fear that a few more "mistakes" might be revealed to the light of day? I know some Floridians who view Jeb Bush as a "super carpetbagger" mainly due to the out of state financial support his campaign received, similar to the Gingrich and Bob Barr efforts here in Georgia. We Georgians know that those two have always had their bread buttered in other places but they pretend to represent us; what a rotten system!! WSR
