I agree they should recount the whole state by hand. The margin is beyond razor thin. If Bush is the clear winner by one vote, then what a great civics lesson. Should Gore come out ahead, then so be it. Every one can then let it go. (Which of course they never will.) As it stands now, it looks like the Bush faction would rather unpresidentially silence this recount. How odd that GW could be satisfied in taking an office that he may not have won. Maybe George Senior is proud of the man his son has become, but I think he is being blinded by a father's pride and is not looking closely at the man that GW is.
