You are kidding, right? It has never happened that a severe market decline has not forced people to withdraw funds. They have always capitulated and will do so again. I do agree that they are desensitized by their clownish belief in the market and the volatility, but that just changes the curve of capitulation -- it does not prevent it.

I am currently playing what I believe will be a bear market rally and am net long. I could ride out a drop in the NAZ to 1000 if I had to and wouldn't blink an eye.

What do you mean "ride it out"? You would stay long?!
