Rich, I haven't posted or owned hardly any stock for a long time. After hearing of the acquisition of the Bellcore technology, I bought all the shares I could afford on Friday at 16 3/8. It's just over 1% of the shares I once had!

I remember pointing out that of all their Li polymer licensees, Bellcore owned stock only in Valence, and that it should have been construed as Bellcore's vote for the most likely to succeed! Now they have voted again by taking their payment in Valence stock. If they had any doubts, they could have insisted on cash!

I did not participate in the conf call or take much time lately to read the threads or post although it's been good to hear from a few of you.

I must again admit that I greatly underestimated the time it would take to develop this technology, and continue to respect and admire Lev for mustering what it takes to get the job done so the Sonys, Sanyos, and ULBI's etc will now likely be paying Valence royalties depending on their desire to compete, either with or without this superior technology with a lower cost to produce.

Having patented and gained control of the technology and certain key materials, Valence(and their shareholders) can participate in the huge market for rechargeable portable devices without having to finance and build factories. I am not sure of the exact percentage, but 6-8% of $billions plus consulting and startup fees should be worth waiting for!
