Hillary is a polarizing figure. The co-president thing back at the beginning of the Clinton administration was more than many people could take. Most Republicans, and perhaps some Democrats, perceive her as a Machievellian, the real source of many of Bill Clinton's problems.

Whitewater, that was Hillary, not Bill. The Rose Law Firm billing scandal. The suicide of Vince Foster, widely reported to have been her lover. The disasterous health care initiative. The White House travel agency brouhaha. Making $100,000 on her first foray into the commodities market, based on a tip from one of Bill's major supporters. Most Republicans don't think "it takes a village" to raise our kids, thank you.

And then there's her hard, cold persona. Which came first, her coldness to Bill or his philandering? I am not a man, but I don't think I'd enjoy taking her to bed.
