Fact, you are squibbling, because it is desperately in your interest NOT to have this vote re-done---the fact that a democrat designed it,is IRRELEVANT.Fact, the design of the Palm Beach ballot was a major screw-up that put forth a ballot in violation of Floridian law,and all efforts to block a re-do are blatant power politic bullyism, and if Bush becomes President WITHOUT a Palm Beach re-do,he will be President under a huge cloud of doubt that could damage our government deeply.
But if the re-do is done, and Bush,is still the winner(counting in other factors, such as absentee ballots),that cloud will be lifted and his beginnings as President would start without such a burden on it.
******* Bush campaign has just announced they are taking legal action to CRUSH all attempts to challenge the Palm Beach vote---a good step forward,in looking like a bully boy future Government opposed to the will of the people----this is NOT good. P.S. i would have rather neither Gore or Bush were the choice that we,as a country were confronted with-----max
