And what assurances do we have that Gore won't cave in to Big Labor, the NEA, Envirowhackos, etc. Each side has its constituencies. The demolibs have been waving the bloody red shirt of the Religious Right since the Reagan years. Roe v. Wade is still the law of the land and the RR has been stiffed by Reagan, Bush, Gingrich and Dole too. The demolibs remind me a lot of the NRA on gun control. I'd actually favor some better registration laws and more enforcement of existing laws unlike most of my Repub. brethren. But the NRA argues against any change. I think its silly. If you don't bend in a strong wind you take the chance of breaking. You demolibs are the same way on "choice".
