Interesting tidbits:

I went through and counted the number of counties and independent municipalities in "heavily" Democratic California that voted for Bush or Gore, and found this...

37 counties cast a majority of votes for Bush
21 counties, including the city of LA, voted for Gore

It's too bad that every county in America doesn't get one vote. Well, from my perspective anyway.

Also interesting:

Chautauqua County in New York, new "home" to Bill and Hillary voted 54% for Rick Lazio. Heh.
