>>I can't even imagine a scenario where Gore is declared the winner after this mess<<

mike, you might want to go back to the drawing board. the demicans, led by al gore, are the worst of what politics is about. ok, they are tied with the repubicrats.

the demos have requested that ONLY heavily democratic counties be hand counted. why, ask thou? they want to rig the hand count.

the bottom line is that every indentation, every "hanging chad" (where the punch hole still has the punched paper attached) is going to be mightily contested. is it davis who had the father that rigged the chicago kennedy election? seems he has quite some experience w/ hand counting. -ng-

god forbid somebody didn't vote for president. "oops, did i just prick that ballot? well, good gore!"

the demos are going to everything to stack this election in their favor, the vote be damned. if you are going to hand count, hand count the state. don't focus on counties that went 9-1 gore (2 of the counties are 9-1 gore).

gore is a political hack and will do ANYTHING, including using his wife on national television, to get votes. hell, the democratic machine jumped all over nader and said he might be gay.

are the replicrats better? nope. but don't underestimate how underhanded these guys are. the young jedi has learned well from the master.
