This stock is a good one but is not for those with weak a weak stomach. However, like they say, "the higher the risk, the greater the potential for big gains, or loses." Today there was yet another news release which it seems that noone caught (see previous few messages by me). Anyway, the summer time is a great time to buy tech stocks because you can get good bargains. This stock, to put it simply will put companies like US Robotics out of business unless they form an alliance with Amati. Face it would you buy a modem that goes only as high as 28KB or 5MB? If you look at the US Robotics trend, it will definitely suffer a bit and begin it's down trend as time continues if there is no other "good" news.
Another good one to take a look at is IOMG (IOMEGA). This is extremely cheap. They are the ones with the 1GB Jazz drives. Which one can hardly keep on the shelves. Anyway, if you get into Amati, dollar cost average and accumulate, but also don't forget to diversify.
By the way, last time good news came out on internet stocks, nothing happened till the following few days. I got burned because I sold my internet stocks at a 50% gain when I could've made 200-300%.
But in this game, I know that there is always another opportunity out there.....ALWAYS another!
