Statistical Analysis of Florida Results Penn Sate Analysis of Palm Beach results show approximately 3100 additional votes for Gore stat.psu.edu Statisticians from Carnegie Mellon Analyze the Vote in Palm Beach county. Results show that many more than 327 votes (the current margin of victory) were mistakenly cast for Buchanan. The mistaken votes could be as much as 2800, more than 8 times the current Bush margin of victory. madison.hss.cmu.edu
