Actually, one of the words for 'gore' in spanish is acornar, 'to pierce with a horn', so the obvious reference is to Mr Clinton.

In Southland, South Island, New Zealand, there is a town called Gore, it is referred to as the Southern Nashville, the Capitol of Country Music for the southern hemisphere [and the music can be surprisingly good, in the same way that the northumbrian style can be, however ameliorated it may be by influence of Lonny Donegan ... but i digress] ... anyway, if you drive some ten or fifteen miles to the east, you come to a town called Clinton ... however if you have trouble with the arrows and instead drive to the west, you may encounter the incredibly small towns of Mabel Bush, Grove Bush, Roslyn Bush, and Longbush ... very much cattle country, redolent of the byproducts involved, and the road there is downhill, as i recall -g-
