Bush has one chance and one chance only and I see that as slim now. He wins with absentee votes and Gore concedes. WINNER IS GOING TO BE - GORE! This is not a prediction - It is a Fact! Voltaire - planning his investments with that in mind There is only chance for Bush. It is very simple. He has to be able to halt the manual count. If he can't do that, it is game over. Winner is going to be Gore! I agree with you. I can't see any other scenario. I think the absentee Ballot is not going to be enough to help him against the manual count as it appears to be unfolding. As a trader, I am just looking to buy puts on the rallying drug stock early next week. They are going to drop or even tank in the coming days and weeks on valuations (and on the Gore win possibility)as they appear to be getting expensive in comparison to a lot of tech stocks these days. As the uncertainty decreases in the coming weeks, there is another reason to sell them.
