One should not forget that toilet to tap is the system used in all our spacecraft -- after a bit of filtration. I will not be surprised if Al Gore endorses such a system, given his love of technology and conservation. We are living in the space age, after all.

Also, after a bit of thought it seems that toilet to tap is God's scheme as well. After all, toilet water from all God's creatures eventually ends up in the oceans and lakes, and from there it inevitably appears on our taps -- after a bit of evaporation and filtration. I will, therefore, doubly not be surprised should Al Gore propose a toilet to tap system. He will simply be carrying out God's will.
