Quite frankly, sure I want my intent interpreted. If I failed to punch all the way through, or the chad remained as a cling-on and voided my vote in the counting machine, wouldn't you be reassured if the process actually caught it?

If I was going to not vote for President, I might not have even gone to stand in line an hour. Nor do I think my stylus would have even strayed into the template for them. I see little chance of misinterpretation given the stated thresholds required for counting the vote.
